- Résumé: Two mysterious sisters, Lilith and Lamia, arrived in Sunnydale and brought along some nasty beasts. Buffy Summers tried to find out who or what they were, but her plan was complicated when one of the sisters took a liking to Angel. The sisters turned out to be ancient vampires, each hoping to bring a champion to town to fight to death in a magical ritual called the Dust Waltz. The Waltz involved ritual murder, blood drinking, an opened Hellmouth, and an apocalypse. Meanwhile the Scooby Gang showed Giles's niece, Jane, the town.
