- Résumé: Ken Connell locates the sun and follows it back to Earth. He finds Debbie in a hospital with injuries from an assault by the Old Man. He visits Barbara who breaks up with him for good. Connell is hounded by the Old Man who leaves a message that he will kill Debbie unless Connell gives him the Star Brand. Connell confronts the Old Man and kills him, throwing the inhuman corpse into orbit.
